Gneiss and granite

Plots are grouped on strongly singular blocks (gneiss and granite soils).This is a transitional climate, still predominantly Mediterranean, but with plots at more than 400m above sea level. Cooler, windier, later-ripening temperatures, and slower-maturing autumn harvests give these wines a unique finesse and complexity.
